Samdineko originates in Samdinyan, a free web sticker pack created and shared on Tumblr by the same artist, takawoyu.
Inspired by the Y2K low-poly cat trend, this cute and expressive sticker pack went viral on Tumblr and quickly spread across various social platforms, used in countless creative ways. People did not adopt it because they were told to. They adopted it because it felt right. Familiar. Relatable. Instantly recognizable.
Like most things on the internet, its moment was not meant to last forever. The cat was expected to fade quietly. Instead of letting it disappear completely, takawoyu chose to give it a new form called Samdineko.
While keeping the same familiar look as Samdinyan, Samdineko is always holding a Pumpfun pill, symbolizing a new beginning beyond a simple web sticker and marking the character’s transition into a token with its own identity.
